Why do we stereotype? Why do we dislike those we do not even know, because they are a little different than us? Genetically speaking we are pretty darn close, less than .1 % separates the entire human race. We are only separated from Chimpanzees by less than 1.5 %. Think about it. Each person or entity should be judged on their own merits and many times you have no idea where that person came from, what they have achieved or what great thing they have done while they were here on this Earth. Chances are we are lucky to have them here and you should be proud to know them, but if you prejudge people, how can you know? Now when a group of people turns out to be a royal pain in the but like an black attorney, who wants to sue good companies for something that happened over 150 years ago; then you can judge them based on their ridiculous actions. I think I have a problem with them, and so should the same people they claim to represent. Because they are doing a grave injustice to those Black Americans who have had to work extra hard because they were black to get to where they are, many twice as hard as others did to get to the same level in professional corporate life, academics, politics, arts, movies or whatever it is. These are some thoughts and it is time, it is way over do for us all to bury the hatchet and that means both sides. Dump the baggage and be Survivors. We are all in this together, look at our boys in the military, colorless, teams of people carrying out America's honor, will and resolve. We need to get past what happened 150 years ago and start to judge each other on a personal basis, by one's contributions and action. Not on the color or on their ancestors. Why doesn't every take a deep-breath, shut up and think about it. Stop acting like the pathetic brain dead humans you are and start thinking of the future. |
